Scary, I hope that if she has any biological children they are staying with someone else!!

I will be praying your you and your little boy as well as for the other families so anxiosly waiting bringing their children home!!

Blessings,
Heather B-SAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8901942618027196862.post-44472950979227606762010-04-09T22:35:48.049-04:002010-04-09T22:35:48.049-04:00It is so sad and very disturbing. I can't imagine how she would think doing that would terminate her parental rights with regard to her son. I'm hoping it will not result in a halt to international adoptions. One thing it does highlight though is the lack of a treaty between the US and Russia with regard to international adoptions. Russian adoptions are not governed by The Hague Convention so perhaps this will cause the two countries to hammer out an agreement all adoptions will be governed by. Now my heart is breaking for you both. We are about to wrap up the final few papers for our Russian adoption so we have a way to go, but this is terrible news for all of us. God has a plan for all things and I know we will have our babies soon. Why ...What will his life be like, abandoned twice? Why not contact the social worker at the American adoption agency for assistance? God forbid an adoption needs to be disrupted, you don't just send a child back with a NOTE! This is a human being, for heaven's sake! And now international adoption is again in jeopardy because of these foolish, heartless women. Our family has twice been blessed by the challenges and beauty of adoption and I would never imagine doing something this heinous - no matter the circumstance. We have taken advantage of the help of professionals to make our way through this incredible journey.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8901942618027196862.post-52313223415933358602010-04-09T15:24:50.621-04:002010-04-09T15:24:50.621-04:00My husband and I received a referral for a baby g...My husband and I received a referral for a baby girl just yesterday. I was so happy until I discovered this story. I could't sleep at night. I was just thinking how my dreams were going to be shattered and that I'll never be able to meet her and be her mother. I am so devastated for us and everyone else . Our region is Vladivostok of course the same region where the boy came from. First, for our little man and secondly, I can't believe that this mother went into the adoption blindly & if there was a problem she should have known what her options were and how to get help for this little guy. Sad but true, only the bad apples get the press coverage, not all the many success stories of adoption. As I read the "adoption blogs" (which you know I love), there are so many children that are with forever families that love them beyond belief and care for them. I pray that God will intervene and bring our little man home soon as well as others that are waiting.Parental Unitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13623468445879400206noreply@blogger.com
