By Thursday all of our documents had been redone. On Friday Chad drove to Columbia to get everything Apostilled. On Saturday I drove to Flat Rock and dropped off our new Court Dossier to our case manager. Today, everything is in route to Russia.
Are you as tired of reading about this as we are actually doing it over and over again?
We have no idea when the Judge gets back from the conference in Moscow. Our agency seems to think that something will be different upon her arrival back to the region. We are hoping for good news soon, but until then, we wait...and hope.....and pray....
Oh honey, we are in the same boat and it SUCKS! We got our referral in Feb., traveled in March, completed our court dossier early in April then got royally burned because of Torry Hansen being a very stupid woman a few days later, had to switch agencies in May, had to switch HOMESTUDY agencies in June, had to redo our homestudy in July, had to wait for our home visit in August and have to redo our court dossier with new homestudy, and new agency this month. So we totally feel ya!!
ReplyDeleteChad and Sarah.....We are so hoping for good news when the judge gets back!!! You both must be a tower of strength as I thought we were going to lose our minds with our wait!!! We are thinking of your here in Alabama and keeping everything we can crossed that the judge comes back refreshed and ready to set your court date so you can bring your little boy home where he belongs!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope she will be willing to take new adoption cases soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping along with you. I know I was sure tired of writing about our progress and it never seemed like everything would just all be aligned at the same time......but it happened for us and I pray it happens for you.....SOON, VERY SOON.
ReplyDeleteI don't like drills...waaaaaaaah! I'm praying for the Judge to return & see how much these children need parents! At least, you are on top of everything you can do! I proud of you & Chad. Love Ya LOTS!
