Nada

Sorry it took me so long to post.... I'll cut to the chase- today we heard absolutely nothing. I was told to call after lunch, Chad and I called together because by 1:00 I was convinced that we were in for some bad news. I just couldn't face it alone. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. And NOTHING. I try not to leave multiple voicemail messages, because I can't stand it when people do that to me, but I did call again around 4:00. Nothing. I know they say "no news is good news" but I think in the world of adoption no news usually means someone couldn't or didn't do what they intended to do. We'll leave it at that.
So I guess we'll try again tomorrow.
Now if you'll excuse me I've made a chocolate cake to drown out my sorrows....

  2. Sarah, we are right there with you. Called our agency today and left a voicemail, inquiring about the little girl that we have had a photo of for 2 months now... and nothing. We still don't even know if or when she is going to be officially released for adoption.... hopefully we will hear from our agency tomorrow, and hopefully we will hear great news... like she's been released and we can travel in a couple of weeks to meet her... hopefully... hmm... chocolate cake sounds good.....

We will keep praying. <3 Summer Sims

  4. Oh I am so sorry...hopefully today. Maybe the person tried to get in to meet with the judge several times and she was unavailable...I know that happens, especially on the first day back to work. Today..praying for today.
