View from Moscow

Charlie loved checking out the view from our hotel room in Moscow. Watching the people and the cars pass by and the men work on the buildings, removing icicles. He hates however, having his picture taken, so there are just a few that he is actually looking at the camera! And, yes, those are socks on his hands. We had just finished a riviting game of "sock moster". Basically, we all put socks on our hands and chase each other around the hotel room. Yes, it is as fun as it sounds. I know I am biased, but man, what a good looking kid!

  1. Sarah, I can't believe how big he is!!! How tall is he?? What a handsome little guy - beautiful babies from Pskov!! Marina still doesn't like to have her photos taken - I keep hoping that will change but so far no luck!! I can't express how happy I am for you all - God bless your amazing family.

  4. So instead of straight-on, smiling shots, you get the candid, natural, side-glance shots! Precious boy!!

  5. Wow! Charlie is a beautiful child. And, at almost 3, he is learning about a whole new world. I understand why you hung in there for this little man. You all have been blessed.

  6. He's amazing, Sarah. I am so very happy for your family.

You were one of the first people I connected with on our adoption journey and you were such a blessing to me, posting about your experiences from your first trip when I felt rather desperate for anything adoption related. If I haven't said it already, thank you for that.

I can't explain it, but I had a feeling that something was up (maybe because you hadn't posted in awhile) and I'm so very glad it's such wonderful news.
